If Roman would have been able to do it, I think it would have increased the value. That bothers me. I mean, it all happens for a reason. I doubt that anybody will ever get to My place in history is what it is. On his alternate career paths should wrestling not have worked out….

I doubt if I would have had a very long run in European pro basketball, but I do see myself — if I had to join the armed forces I probably would have been a career guy.

I just wish that I maybe served because I deal so much and am involved in so many different veteran organizations. She was one, when she was active with the WWE, was never satisfied with the role that the women were given.

She fought. She went back and forth. And to her credit, never asked me once, never asked me once will you go talk to Vince [McMahon] or will you do this. She always wanted to do it herself. And I just wish people really understood how much she fought for the women and the opportunities to do the things the women are doing now.

All throughout the filming, I kept thinking about different points in my career, with the gear serving as a timeline of where I was in life. In fact, it was the opposite that was true—he preferred to travel with as little gear as possible. Little did I know there would be such a demand for this, like my ring gear. Looking at it opened up so many memories, and being on the show was a really cool project for me.

And while it is fun to see certain pieces of history and hear the stories behind them, there will always be items left out, such as the famed mask Calaway wore when he began his career in as Texas Red.

As both rivals and partners, The Undertaker and Kane created captivating content in WWE, and viewers will enjoy seeing the two interact in a much more casual manner. There is even footage of an old Smoky Mountain Wrestling match pitting The Undertaker against Jacobs, who was working at the time as the monstrous Unabomb. Though Jacobs went through his share of failed gimmicks, including Isaac Yankem and the Fake Diesel, Calaway was always one of his strongest advocates.

And then you look at the size of the man. He just needed something to push him over the top. And he is such a wonderful human being. He credits her as an integral piece of his success. Calaway is at such ease discussing the pro wrestling business—both proud and protective of its ability to entertain and connect with people—as well as its unique eccentricities.

I just think the product is a little soft. I have a lot of respect for our roster, but I came from a different time period. The Legendary wrestler retired at Survivor Series last year. The WWE have roped in legends and older wrestlers in the recent past to give their television ratings a boost once in a while.
